Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with monthly payroll processing for a small team of employees.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Process invoices, track expenses, and assist with budget preparation.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for part-time or freelance experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
