Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile client accounts using QuickBooks and proprietary accounting software
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for portfolio review
- Assist in tax preparation and compliance documentation for individual and business clients
- Process accounts payable/receivable with strict attention to deadlines and accuracy
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation and financial reporting
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
- Provide responsive client communication regarding financial inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP capabilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Effective communication skills for client-facing interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven experience with reconciliations and financial reporting
