Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and reconcile bank accounts
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and journal entries
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
- Maintain organized financial records in compliance with GAAP
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- CPA certification or pursuing CPA preferred
- Experience with financial software (Sage 100 a plus)
