Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Process invoices and expense reports in compliance with company policies
- Support tax preparation and documentation for annual filings
- Utilize QuickBooks and accounting software for data entry and analysis
- Collaborate with team members to resolve financial discrepancies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of accounting experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential)
- Relevant CPA or bookkeeping certification a plus
