Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile client accounts payable/receivable with 99.8% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Process payroll for 15-20 employees using QuickBooks Online
- Assist with tax preparation and quarterly filings
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong understanding of Texas tax regulations
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
