Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 10-15 small business clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with CA labor regulations
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Assist with tax preparation and documentation
- Implement QuickBooks accounting systems for new clients
- Provide financial analysis and budgeting support
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and CA tax requirements
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification a plus
