Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Handle accounts payable/receivable with 100% accuracy
- Process payroll and ensure tax compliance (federal/state)
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Support tax preparation coordination with external CPAs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and MS Excel
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
