Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare accurate journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Process payroll and handle accounts payable/receivable with precision
- Conduct comprehensive account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for financial reporting and data analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial strategy and optimization
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Proven problem-solving abilities in financial contexts
- Professional certification (CPA or equivalent) a plus
