Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely invoice processing
- Conduct month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Virginia CPA license a plus
