Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly financial statements for 15-20 clients
- Prepare and file quarterly sales tax returns with Georgia Department of Revenue
- Process accounts payable/receivable using QuickBooks Online
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and variance analysis
- Compile financial reports for management and client reviews
- Implement and maintain internal controls for compliance
- Coordinate with auditors during annual reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 3+ years of accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Active CPA license preferred (or in progress)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS standards
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
