Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process payroll and ensure all tax filings are accurate and timely.
- Support the annual tax preparation process and handle tax correspondence.
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
