Responsibilities
- Manage monthly bookkeeping cycles for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 3-day reconciliation standards
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax preparation documentation
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis for all client accounts
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Support audit processes by providing organized financial documentation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical accuracy verification
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Proven experience with financial statement preparation
