Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for clients
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll transactions
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash flow reporting
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Implement and improve accounting processes using QuickBooks Online
- Provide exceptional client support during month-end closes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Florida tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not required
