Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 10-15 SMB clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Coordinate quarterly sales tax filings and payroll processing
- Assist with month-end closing and reconciliations
- Support annual audit preparation and documentation
- Implement process improvements for client accounting workflows
- Adhere to GAAP standards and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proficiency with accounting software (Xero a plus)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication for client interactions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- California residency required for in-office days
