Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 10-15 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Process payroll and sales tax filings for Oregon-based businesses
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with annual tax preparation and documentation
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance
- Client relationship management and financial consultation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Strong understanding of Oregon tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Clear communication with non-financial stakeholders
- Attention to detail with 99%+ accuracy in financial records
