Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for small business clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly and year-end tax preparation
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries in QuickBooks
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement reviews
- Collaborate with team on financial reporting deadlines
- Provide client support for accounting inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- CPA certification or actively pursuing preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
