Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll support
- Assist with tax preparation documentation and compliance filings
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows
- Collaborate with senior accountants on quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong GAAP knowledge and audit experience preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation highly valued
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
