Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of our clients, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with UK regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of clients, including bank reconciliations and journal entries.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors and HMRC.
- Process payroll and handle VAT returns and corporation tax calculations.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and expense management.
Qualifications
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or AAT qualified (Part-qualified candidates with significant experience will also be considered).
- Proven experience in a part-time or freelance accounting role within the UK.
- Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage accounting software.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clients.
