Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain internal controls ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Prepare and present budget forecasts to executive leadership
- Lead cross-departmental projects to optimize financial processes
- Mentor junior accountants through knowledge sharing and training initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience with financial reporting and compliance audits
