Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies through audit trail analysis
- Onboard new hires and maintain employee records in HRIS systems
- Generate payroll reports for finance leadership and external auditors
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and time-off tracking
- Stay updated on FLSA, ACA, and local labor law changes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's in Accounting preferred)
- Basic proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Detail-oriented mindset with 10-key numerical accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data
- Strong problem-solving skills for payroll discrepancy resolution
- Willingness to complete in-house payroll certification program
- Excellent communication skills for cross-department collaboration
