Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees using our advanced payroll software.
- Input and verify employee timecards, attendance records, and payroll data with 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of payroll tax reports and compliance documentation.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, direct deposits, and tax forms (W-2s).
- Collaborate with the HR department to maintain accurate personnel files and benefit information.
- Reconcile payroll bank statements and assist in the month-end close process.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll data quickly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associateās degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.
- Experience: No prior payroll experience is necessary; we train the right candidates.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff and management.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
