  • Manage End-to-End Payroll: Process weekly and monthly payroll for over 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Ensure Compliance: Stay up-to-date with Washington State tax laws, FLSA regulations, and other applicable payroll legislation to mitigate risk.
  • Employee Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, resolving discrepancies and answering questions regarding pay stubs and deductions.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of payroll bank accounts, general ledger entries, and tax liability accounts.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze payroll reports for management, assisting with budget forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist in the administration of benefits enrollment, terminations, and changes, ensuring data integrity across systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of ADP, Paylocity, Workday, or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or HR preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and the ability to spot errors before they impact employees.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex payroll concepts clearly to non-finance staff.
