Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with high accuracy.
- Process payroll and manage time-off requests for night staff.
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare month-end closing reports.
- Assist with financial audits and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Manage vendor inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM).
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or CPA preferred.
