Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including reconciliations and journal entries during night shift hours
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with auditors during night-time engagements
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and industry regulations
- Lead cross-departmental financial reporting initiatives
- Implement process improvements for night shift accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of night shift or alternative hours accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to meet deadlines during non-standard hours
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication across time zones
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
