Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements and general ledger accounts with precision.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for the night cycle.
- Prepare and post daily journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Perform credit checks and manage customer accounts receivable follow-ups.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Communicate effectively with the day shift team regarding outstanding discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (Advanced), and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reconciliation processes.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts (9:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
