Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a nightly basis.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Generate and review financial reports and balance sheets.
- Process payroll for multiple clients during the night shift.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and account status.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM or similar).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
