Responsibilities
- Process and manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts nightly to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain and update the general ledger using QuickBooks or Xero.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients and ensure timely payments.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist the finance team with payroll processing and data entry.
- Perform routine audits of financial records to identify discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 2+ years of proven experience in bookkeeping, general ledger, or accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Must be available and willing to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
