Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure accurate general ledger entries.
- Process payroll for the night shift workforce with precision and adherence to deadlines.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Review and classify financial documents, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Generate financial reports and assist with budget preparation.
- Respond to inquiries regarding invoices and financial discrepancies during off-hours.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines without supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or CPA preferred.
- Must be available to work a dedicated night shift schedule.
