Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients and vendors in a timely manner.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly payroll processing.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Perform month-end close procedures and assist in generating financial reports.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and basic bookkeeping practices.
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 4 PM - 12 AM or 5 PM - 1 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
