Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions nightly
- Prepare and distribute daily financial reports
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate payroll records for night staff
- Support month-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with day-team accounting staff
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance required
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Night shift availability (10PM-6AM)
- Knowledge of NYC tax regulations
- Ability to work independently
- Financial software expertise (Sage, Xero)
