Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Process and post journal entries to ensure the general ledger is current and error-free.
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and preparation of tax documents.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices and payments as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency with accounting software, specifically QuickBooks or Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work independently in a night shift environment (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
