Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Process payroll for a small to mid-sized team accurately and on time.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and journals.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Generate financial reports, invoices, and balance sheets.
- Maintain an organized filing system for both digital and physical documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 2+ years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and strictly adhere to deadlines in a night shift environment.
- Experience with AP/AR processes and payroll systems is a plus.
