Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions nightly
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Assist with month-end closing procedures after market hours
- Manage vendor payments and bank reconciliations
- Implement internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly audits
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Knowledge of GAAP and Florida tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
