Responsibilities
- Process nightly accounts payable and accounts receivable batches with high accuracy.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Prepare and post nightly journal entries to ensure accurate ledgers.
- Review and verify expense reports submitted during the shift.
- Assist in the month-end close process by completing night shift deliverables.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Communicate with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
