As a Night Shift Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our accounting operations, allowing our daytime team to focus on client acquisition and strategy. We offer a competitive shift differential and a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Process payroll for employees with precision and adherence to compliance standards.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and general ledger entries.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, or similar accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently in a quiet environment during night shifts.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (optional for remote work).
