Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and perform month-end reconciliations with precision.
- Process and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ledgers, and reports.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) to input data and track expenses.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly.
- Ability to work independently and reliably during the night shift.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
