Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with extreme precision and timeliness.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage general ledger entries to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Prepare and send invoices, verify receipt of payments, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist in internal or external audits as needed.
- Reconcile credit card statements and manage petty cash funds.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM EST).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
