Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records
- Process and reconcile monthly bank statements with accounting software
- Prepare financial reports including profit/loss statements and balance sheets
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for night shift operations
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during handover periods
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial data integrity
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with night shift exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or comparable accounting software
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours
- Familiarity with California tax regulations and compliance requirements
