Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly financial statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with nightly deadlines
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports for executive review
- Manage payroll processing for 50+ employees using ADP systems
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews
- Implement process improvements for night shift accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with night shift exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of month-end closing procedures
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly desirable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
