As a Night Shift Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients' financial data is accurate and up-to-date during the critical overnight hours.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately to the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and month-end closing procedures.
- Monitor accounts and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding issues.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with payroll processing and expense reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
