Responsibilities
- Process and verify a high volume of invoices for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a nightly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and adjusting journal entries.
- Maintain the general ledger with 100% accuracy.
- Support payroll processing for remote staff during off-hours.
- Perform month-end closing procedures efficiently.
- Assist with tax preparation support and filing organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry speed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
