Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures including reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with 100% accuracy
- Generate financial statements and management reports for client portfolios
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial documentation
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Support tax preparation processes by providing accurate financial data
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a strong plus
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Reliable transportation for late-night commuting in Seattle area
- Experience with multi-currency accounting systems
