Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile high-volume accounts payable transactions within Net 30 terms
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies proactively
- Implement and maintain AP workflow improvements using SAP and Oracle systems
- Conduct month-end closing activities and support financial audits
- Analyze payment trends and recommend cost-saving strategies
- Train junior AP staff on compliance procedures and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience with high-volume processing
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Texas sales tax regulations
- Proven experience with 3-way matching and PO validation
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
