Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions within strict nightly deadlines
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific accounting standards
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Implement process improvements for nightly financial workflows
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for multiple entities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated ability to meet strict night shift deadlines
- Expert knowledge of month-end/year-end closing procedures
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance analysis

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
