Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Generate financial statements and compliance reports
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data analysis
- Ensure SOX compliance and audit preparation
- Collaborate with tax professionals during filing seasons
- Train on proprietary financial software systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with night shift preference
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Strong attention to detail with error reduction focus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
