Join our dynamic finance team as a Night Shift Bookkeeper at Precision Financial Services. This role offers the flexibility of evening hours while ensuring accurate financial operations for our diverse client portfolio. You'll be pivotal in maintaining financial integrity during overnight operations, supporting businesses across Minneapolis with exceptional bookkeeping expertise.
Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile accounts payable/receivable during overnight shifts
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Maintain and update QuickBooks databases with nightly transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Monitor financial controls and detect discrepancies
- Collaborate with day team for seamless financial handovers
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Proven night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
