Responsibilities
- Process and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to the general ledger nightly.
- Prepare and post necessary journal entries for daily adjustments.
- Assist with payroll processing specifically for night shift personnel.
- Generate monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and trial balances.
- Maintain accurate digital filing systems and support the month-end close process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Must be available to work 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Night Shift).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
