Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Process payroll for night shift employees, ensuring all deductions and withholdings are correct.
- Prepare and generate weekly and monthly financial reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records using accounting software.
- Communicate with vendors and internal clients regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
