Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily transactions using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closing procedures
- Generate financial reports including P&L statements and balance sheets
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Coordinate with auditors and provide documentation during audits
- Maintain organized financial records with backup documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Experience with multi-state accounting operations preferred
- Professional certification (e.g., AIPB) a plus
