Responsibilities
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Manage and process accounts payable and receivable invoices.
- Prepare daily and monthly financial reports and summaries.
- Assist with payroll processing for non-day shift employees.
- Maintain the general ledger and fixed asset schedules.
- Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and local financial regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) to track expenditures.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a night shift capacity.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar cloud-based accounting software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during off-hours.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
